Triple-needle Stitching by “Caballo” Sewing Machine

The most defining detail is the flat-felled "Caballo" triple-needle stitch that runs all over the areas of the shirt, such as side seams, shoulders, armholes, back yoke, and sleeves. It features high durability and longevity such as workwear. You will also enjoy the aging process of the triple-needle seams as you wash it over and over. Seams will start getting shrunk a little after washes to form its own unique wavy shape, and then the top part of the seams will start looking more faded than the bottom part. We love how seams grow like that over the years. This is definitely a great example of our future vintage Americana garments.

Gusseted Chest Pocket

Nicely done with double-needle top stitching. Gusset helps extend the room of the pocket for higher storage capacity. Flap has a beautiful curve and pointed shape with a button closure for security of your belongings.

Pen Holder Slip on left chest pocket

The left chest pocket features a pen holder slip, reinforced with bar tacks.

Train Ticket Pocket on the Left Sleeve

Nostalgic feature that we have left there from the first introduction of the Triple Needle Shirt back in early 2000’s. Back in the days, we used to buy a small ticket every time we took a train or subway. This pocket would never let you lose your ticket.

Bar-tack reinforcement at pocket openings

These small stitches are used in high-stress points to reinforce the areas that are prone to tearing or coming apart over time. The bar tacks protect vulnerable areas of a garment from tear and wear and increases its longevity.

Extended Front Placket with Pointed End

The bottom of the front placket extends a bit to the interior.  The end of the placket is finished with a pointed shape.

Collar Stand

Composed of three different layers of fabrics to make it durable.

Button Cuffs

Come with two buttons for adjustment.

Military-Standard Melamine Buttons

A signature detail used across our collections every season. Guaranteed quality to last for decades.

Curved Hem

The easy-going cut is balanced such that it is neither too tight nor too wide. This, in combination with the medium length of the shirt which allows the shirt to be tucked in or worn untucked, makes it one of the most versatile components of any man’s closet.

Side Seam Gussets

Additional piece of fabric for reinforcement

Gathering on the Back Yoke

Creates extra range of motion for shoulders and back.

Locker Loop on the Back Yoke

First appeared in 1960’s, locker loops keep shirts wrinkle free by hanging them up.
