Rib Cuffs
100% Cotton, knitted domestically in the USA. Ribbing on the cuffs features no seam line. It’s made in tubular for maximum comfort on your wrist. You can tell the quality of ribbing by determining if it has seam line or not. It also features a bell shape, what we call “Flare”. The wale of ribbing gets wider towards the edge, allowing more stretch for sleeve ends while keeping nicely snug fit at your wrist. All these details on the ribbing can only be achieved by using rare old knitting machines.

The curved facing gives it a unique and organic design. It would be normal to finish this area straight from top to bottom, but we do the curve shape on purpose as a homage to well craft vintage clothing that we love. Peace of mind in design like this is what we value on every single garment we produce. You will find the curve shape on the inside facing on a lot of Monitaly garments.

French Seam
Encloses the seam allowance so no raw edge is visible. The result is a super clean look both inside and outside.
